HEAT TRANSFER :
The skateboards are produced by heat transfer screen printed for the best rendering, versatility and high quality definition. This process enables to screen print onto a transfer paper instead of being directly screen printed on the skateboard. The design is printed on a plastic sheet then applied with a heat press here in our workshop like each step of skateboard printing process. This technical has several advantages like printing any pantone color (spot color) of your choice, shiny or mate (including silver and gold) and we also can do CMYK prints for photo print or very colorful designs. This skateboard printing process enables obviously to leave a clear part/ clear background (wood color) on your skateboard design.
MINI LOGO :
This other option enables to reduce the production cost. So ArtPrint proposes you “mini logo” customized which is a 1 color print (printing size max = between the trucks) to make your custom shop decks at a lower price than full bottom print from only 20 skateboards per design.
MINIMUM QUANTITIES :
It’s up to you. ArtPrint makes your custom skateboards/ shop decks from only 20 boards for “mini logo series” and any other design up to 3 pantone colors. Then from 30 pieces for any custom skateboards printed up to 4 pantone colors or CMYK prints.
In each case feel free to mix all the different shapes of your choice like you want with no minimum quantity per shape.
REISSUES :
After each production ArtPrint archives your files and set up for any forthcoming reissue of designs already made for you. So the price of your skateboards printed will be much lower because you won’t have to pay again for the set up fees to print the same design again.
Also you have the option to change the colorway of your artwork with no extra cost (minimum 30 skateboards printed per design and colorway).
FILES TO PROVIDE :
We need a vector file (PDF or AI) or TIFF, PSD, JPEG file in 300dpi at the real printing size (85cm x 25cm) placed on the template supplied. Don’t forget to leave an overflow all around your design like shown on the template example to print properly all the different skateboard sizes. Better send us a rectangular shape file.
